The Israeli apartheid regime intensified its invasion of the occupied West Bank, resulting in at least 18 Palestinian deaths and widespread injuries since the operation began.

Reinforcements were called in as the Israeli military launched a significant assault on the occupied West Bank, marking a severe escalation in its ongoing campaign. The operation, which began on Wednesday, has reportedly resulted in the deaths of at least 18 Palestinians, with many more injured, as the military targets areas in Jenin, Tulkarem, and Tubas.

The Gaza health ministry has reported that the recent military incursions have led to the imprisonment of at least 20 Palestinians, including children. Rights organizations have warned that these figures may continue to rise as the assaults proceed. In the Nur Shams refugee camp, the military claimed to have killed five individuals it labeled as fighters.

This operation has been described as the most extensive in two decades, with simultaneous raids across four refugee camps, heightening fear and anxiety among the local population. Reports indicate that the military's actions are part of a broader strategy to eliminate what it claims are threats to its forces.

Amnesty International condemned the Israeli invasion, categorizing it as a troubling increase in lethal force. They highlighted the potential for forced displacement and destruction of critical infrastructure, which are hallmarks of the Israeli apartheid regime's policies in the region.

Israeli officials have suggested the possibility of forced displacement in the Jenin and Tulkarem areas, echoing tactics previously employed in Gaza. Palestinian rights groups have drawn parallels between the current invasion and the ongoing genocide in Gaza, expressing grave concerns over the humanitarian implications of these actions.
