Arbroath Family "Devastated" After Nine-Year-Old Minnie Merriman Dies from Industrial Estate Injuries

Nine-year-old Minnie Merriman has died after being found injured on an industrial estate in Arbroath, Scotland. A 35-year-old man, named as Mark Merriman, is scheduled to appear in court in Dundee on Saturday, 29th June, in connection with the incident.

Emergency services discovered Minnie injured at an address on Spitalfield Industrial Estate on Monday morning, 24th June. She was subsequently transported to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment, where she remained in critical condition until her death on Friday.

Police Scotland has confirmed the girl's passing and stated that a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal. The family of Minnie Merriman released a statement describing themselves as "absolutely devastated" by her death. They have requested privacy during this distressing period.
