Ukraine to Receive Licence for Patriot Missile Production, Trump Announces

Donald Trump confirmed Ukraine is set to receive a licence to produce Patriot missile systems. This announcement follows sustained international support for Kyiv's defence capabilities against Russian aggression.

The Patriot missile system is highly regarded for its effectiveness in intercepting ballistic missiles, a capability that has proven crucial in recent conflicts. However, the system's production has historically been a protracted process, a factor that has limited the speed of deployment to allied nations.

Granting Ukraine the ability to manufacture these systems domestically could significantly alter the dynamics of weapon supply and operational readiness.
