London Men Jailed For Hendon Jewellery Shop Robbery, Posing As Liverpool Accents

Londoners Daniel Butler, 37, of no fixed address, along with Michael Lewis, 33, from Hendon, and Ryan Williams, 21, also from Hendon, have received sentences totalling over 20 years for their roles in the armed robbery of a jewellery shop.

Harrow Crown Court heard how, in November of the previous year, the three men stormed a jeweller's in Hendon. The court was told they used false Liverpool accents in an attempt to mislead employees and obscure their identities.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that the men resided merely a five-minute walk from the targeted establishment. This geographical proximity ultimately assisted in their swift identification and arrest.

Butler received a nine-year sentence for robbery and possession of a bladed article. Lewis was imprisoned for eight years for robbery. Williams, the youngest of the group, was handed a five-year sentence for robbery.
