
Man Arrested After Vehicle Collides with House in Derbyshire Village
Emergency services extracted a man from a vehicle that had crashed into the front of a house in the Derbyshire village of Ockbrook. The incident occurred on Monday morning.
Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service reported that two crews attended the scene on Bare Lane, where they stabilised the vehicle and assisted in the man's removal. Following his rescue, the man was arrested by Derbyshire Police on suspicion of being unfit to drive through drink or drugs.
Images from the site depicted significant damage to the vehicle and the brickwork of the property, with debris scattered across the immediate area. No other injuries were reported from the collision.
