
Teenager Dies After Entering Millwall Outer Dock Water in East London Incident
A 14-year-old boy has died after being recovered from the water at Millwall Outer Dock in east London. Emergency services were called to the scene on Monday evening following reports of a person in difficulty.
Police, the London Ambulance Service, and the London Fire Brigade's water rescue unit attended the dock near Marsh Wall shortly after 17:00 BST. Despite their efforts, the teenager's body was recovered later that night.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed the boy's death and stated that his next of kin have been informed. Authorities are not treating the death as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
