Tyrece Balcha Murder: Man Convicted of Fatal Shooting Outside Wembley's Crystal Club
Mourad Belbouab, 26, has been convicted of the murder of Tyrece Balcha, 17, who was fatally shot outside a nightclub in Wembley. The Old Bailey heard that Mr Balcha suffered gunshot wounds to the head and chest following an incident outside the Crystal Club on 10 February 2023.
The court was presented with evidence demonstrating Belbouab's swift exit from the location after the shooting. He discarded his mobile phone, a coat, and the firearm used in the attack, actions the prosecution argued were clear attempts to evade accountability for Mr Balcha's death.
Emergency services responded to the scene on Ilwford Road, Wembley, after reports of a shooting. Despite the efforts of paramedics, Mr Balcha was pronounced dead at the location. His family described him as a 'humble, loving, and kind boy' whose life was 'stolen from him'.
Belbouab is scheduled to be sentenced at a later date, with proceedings currently adjourned to allow for further legal considerations.
