
Woman Charged After Four Men Stabbed Near Central London's Covent Garden
A 47-year-old woman has been charged after four men sustained stab wounds near Covent Garden in central London.
Police responded to reports of an assault at approximately 22:00 BST on Friday in Southampton Street, WC2. All four injured individuals were transported to hospital. Their conditions have been assessed as non-life threatening, and they have since been discharged.
Karen Demetriou, of no fixed address, was charged on Saturday with four counts of grievous bodily harm with intent and one count of possession of an offensive weapon. She appeared in custody at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Monday.
The Metropolitan Police had previously stated that all parties involved were known to each other.
