Sheraz Malik, an asylum seeker, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for the rape of an 18-year-old woman in Sutton Lawn park, Nottinghamshire, in June last year. Malik, 28, was found guilty of two counts of rape in January, despite claiming consent. The victim was also raped by an unidentified second man with whom Malik was present.
