15-Year-Old Boy Charged with Murder Following Discovery of Female Body in Blaenau Gwent
A 15-year-old boy faces a murder charge following the discovery of a female body in woodland near Abertillery, Blaenau Gwent. Gwent Police confirmed the charge, stating the boy will appear at Cwmbran Youth Court on Monday.
The body was located in the Pen y Fan industrial estate area during a search for a missing girl. Formal identification has not yet taken place, but the family of the missing girl has been informed.
A 46-year-old man, arrested previously in connection with the investigation, has been released without charge and is assisting the police with their enquiries. Authorities have appealed for information from anyone who may have been in the vicinity of the industrial estate or the surrounding woodland walks.
