
17-Year-Old Dies, Three Injured in Sussex Crash Near Beachy Head
A 17-year-old male has died after a single-vehicle collision on the A259 near Beachy Head, East Sussex. The incident, which involved a white Honda Civic, occurred at approximately 23:00 BST on Saturday.
Sussex Police confirmed that the teenager, a passenger in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. Three other occupants, men aged 19, 20, and 21, were taken to hospital with serious injuries. Their current conditions have not been released.
Emergency services, including fire and ambulance crews, attended the crash site. The A259 was closed for several hours between the notorious Belle Tout junction and Gilberts Drive while forensic collision investigators examined the scene. Authorities are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward to assist their ongoing investigation.
