Alex Jenkinson Faces December Trial for Threatening Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor

Alex Jenkinson, 39, is to stand trial in December, charged with causing Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor to "fear unlawful violence." The accusation stems from an alleged incident in Windsor, Berkshire, where Mr Jenkinson reportedly made threats against the former Duke of York while he was walking his dogs.

Mr Jenkinson appeared before Reading Magistrates' Court on 22 August, where he denied the charge. The prosecution alleges that the 39-year-old committed an offence under Section 4 of the Public Order Act 1986. This section addresses behaviour intended to cause another person to believe that immediate unlawful violence will be used against them or another person.

The trial is scheduled to commence on 12 December at the same court. Mr Jenkinson has been granted bail until the trial date.
