
Brighton Drowning Victims: Father Mourns Three Daughters at Funeral Service
A funeral service was held for three sisters who tragically drowned in the sea off Brighton's coast in May. The father, who cannot be named for legal reasons, described the loss as 'unbearable' during the ceremony.
The three girls, aged 11, 13, and 14, were pronounced dead after being recovered from the water. A fourth sister, aged eight, was also rescued from the sea and survived the incident.
Emergency services, including the Coastguard, RNLI, and Sussex Police, initiated a large-scale search and rescue operation after the alarm was raised. The incident remains under investigation, though authorities have not indicated any suspicious circumstances.
