Bristol Man Arrested For Attempted Murder After Stokes Croft Car Incident

A man has been apprehended by Avon and Somerset Police on suspicion of attempted murder after three people were hit by a car in Bristol's Stokes Croft area. The incident unfolded following reports of a disturbance shortly after 01:00 BST on Sunday.

Emergency services, including police and ambulance crews, were dispatched to the scene on Stokes Croft, near the junction with North Street. Two men and one woman were found to have sustained injuries, none of which are currently considered life-threatening.

The arrested man remains in police custody, with enquiries ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the event.
