
Carmarthenshire Police Arrest 13-Year-Old Boy for Trimsaran Rugby Club Arson, Attempted Murder
A 13-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and arson following a fire at a rugby club in Carmarthenshire.
The incident at Trimsaran rugby club on Saturday resulted in an 11-year-old boy suffering serious injuries. He is currently in a stable condition at Morriston Hospital.
Dyfed-Powys Police stated that officers responded to reports of a fire at approximately 18:15 BST. The force confirmed that a container was allegedly set alight deliberately, causing considerable damage to the container and its contents.
Trimsaran Rugby Club noted on social media that the 11-year-old boy was trapped inside and was only freed due to the efforts of club members.
The 13-year-old suspect has been released on conditional bail as the police investigation continues.
