
Coventry Murder Case: Fourth Suspect Charged with Michael Ababio's Killing
A fourth individual, Ismail Nabeel, 18, of Coventry, has been charged with murder and attempted murder in connection with the death of 18-year-old Michael Ababio. Ababio was fatally stabbed near Foleshill Library on 22 February.
Nabeel remains in custody and is scheduled to appear at Coventry Magistrates' Court on Monday.
Detective Inspector Nigel Box confirmed that officers are providing support to Michael Ababio's family and have informed them of the recent developments. He added that investigators continue to work to ascertain the exact circumstances of the events leading to Ababio's death and urged anyone with information yet to come forward to assist the inquiry.
Previously, Mahad Mohammed, 19, and two 17-year-old boys, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, were also charged with murder and attempted murder. All three entered not guilty pleas at Warwick Crown Court, with a trial date set for 1 September.
