Sydney Officer Allegedly Used Food Delivery Disguise in Double Murder, Court Hears

A Sydney court has heard allegations that former New South Wales Police senior constable Beaumont Lamarre-Condon disguised himself as an Uber Eats delivery rider during the murders of his ex-partner Luke Davies and his new boyfriend, Jesse Baird.

Mr Lamarre-Condon, 28, appeared via video link, pleading not guilty to two counts of murder. Prosecutors presented evidence, including CCTV footage, which they claim shows the former officer in an Uber Eats uniform entering Mr Baird's Paddington residence on 19 February. The court was told that a bullet casing discovered at the scene matched a police-issued firearm.

The bodies of Mr Davies and Mr Baird were discovered five days later, on 24 February, concealed in surfboard bags on a rural property in Bungonia, approximately 124 miles (200km) south-west of Sydney. The court heard that Mr Lamarre-Condon had allegedly purchased a surfboard bag and padlock from a retail store prior to the bodies being found.

Mr Lamarre-Condon resigned from the police force following his arrest. The case is scheduled to return to court in November.
