Donald Trump Disseminates Manipulated Footage of King Charles III, Fainting Worker

Donald Trump, the former US President, circulated a manipulated video on his Truth Social platform that misrepresented King Charles III's reaction to a fainting member of the public. The footage depicted the King seemingly shrugging and walking past an individual requiring medical attention, implying indifference.

However, the original, unedited video from an engagement in Poundbury, Dorset, earlier in May, shows King Charles III pausing to check on the man before continuing. Other Royal Family members, including Queen Camilla, were present and offered assistance. The individual, a former Royal Navy serviceman, reportedly recovered swiftly.

Mr Trump's post was accompanied by a caption stating, "The King just blows off the guy who just fainted in front of him." This incident is consistent with Mr Trump's established pattern of deploying misleading or edited media content on his social media platforms, a tactic frequently observed during his political career.
