Dunmurry Homes Evacuated After Explosion Near Police Station on Sunday
Residential properties in Dunmurry, Northern Ireland, were evacuated following a security alert triggered by an explosion near a police station. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning in the Kingsway area, just outside Belfast.
Police have confirmed their presence at the scene and have advised the public to avoid the cordoned-off zone. Unconfirmed reports indicate the explosion may have involved a car bomb; no injuries have been reported.
Sinn Féin representative Danny Baker, whose Belfast West constituency includes Dunmurry, used social media to urge commuters to find alternative routes. Baker stated, "At this stage, there is very little information, and I hope no one is hurt."
