Dutch Institute Issues Overdose Warning for Trump-Shaped Ecstasy Tablets

The Trimbos Institute, a prominent Dutch health organisation, has released a 'red alert' regarding ecstasy tablets moulded in the likeness of former US President Donald Trump. The institute has identified these orange-coloured pills as containing a dangerously high concentration of MDMA, the active ingredient in ecstasy.

Analysis by Trimbos indicates that each tablet contains approximately 300mg of MDMA. This dosage is substantially higher than what is typically considered safe, even for experienced users. A critical aspect of the risk associated with these pills is their delayed physiological effect. Users may not feel the drug's impact immediately, leading them to consume additional tablets in the mistaken belief that the initial dose was ineffective. This delayed reaction substantially elevates the probability of an overdose.

The Trimbos Institute advises individuals who encounter these specific tablets to exercise extreme caution and to avoid consuming them. The warning underscores ongoing public health challenges related to illicit drug manufacturing, where high-potency substances are frequently introduced into circulation without adequate user awareness of the associated dangers.
