
Emergency Services Conduct Extensive Search for Missing 13-Year-Old Off Hornsea Coast
A large-scale search operation is continuing for a 13-year-old boy who disappeared while in the sea off Hornsea, East Yorkshire. Emergency services were alerted to the situation at approximately 18:00 BST on Saturday.
The Coastguard confirmed that the alarm was raised after the boy was reported missing near the coastline. Multiple agencies, including the Coastguard, RNLI lifeboats, police, and fire and rescue services, are involved in the coordinated search efforts. Aerial support has also been deployed to assist with the operation, scouring the coastal waters and immediate shoreline.
Local residents have been advised to avoid the area to allow emergency personnel to conduct their work without hindrance. The focus remains on locating the missing teenager amidst the ongoing, intensive search.
