
Four Dead, Including Infant, After Car Crashes into Derby Trees; Driver Arrested
Four individuals, including an infant, have died after a car veered off the road and collided with trees in Derby. The incident occurred on the A6 London Road at approximately 02:45 BST on Saturday.
Derbyshire Constabulary confirmed the fatalities, which include a 21-year-old woman, two men aged 27 and 35, and a baby. The 27-year-old driver of the vehicle was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Emergency services, including police, fire, and ambulance crews, attended the scene near the junction with the A5111. London Road was closed for several hours while collision investigators examined the site, reopening later that day.
