
Four Individuals Charged with Murder After Leicester Stabbing Death of Arad Niakan
Four men face murder charges in connection with the death of Arad Niakan, who was fatally stabbed in Leicester on Wednesday. Mr Niakan, aged 24, died following the incident.
The individuals charged are: Reece Wheeler, 28, of Pakenham Street; Kai Green, 26, of Glenfrith Close; Brighton Kennedy, 24, of no fixed address; and Callum Platt, 27, of Stanton Road.
Leicestershire Police stated that all four men are scheduled to appear at Leicester Magistrates' Court later today, Saturday.
Emergency services were called to an address on Sparkenhoe Street at approximately 01:25 GMT on 19 June, where Mr Niakan was discovered with stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A fifth individual, a 28-year-old man, who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, has been released on bail as inquiries continue. Detectives are appealing for anyone with relevant information to come forward.
