Karoline Leavitt Departs White House Press Secretary Role to Prioritise Family

Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, is to step down from her role, according to an announcement from Donald Trump. The former President stated that Ms Leavitt's decision stems from a wish to spend more time with her young children and family.

Ms Leavitt's tenure saw her act as a prominent voice for the administration, frequently engaging with media outlets and delivering official statements. Her departure marks a shift in the White House communications team ahead of key political developments.

The move is understood as a personal decision, with Mr Trump expressing his understanding and well wishes for Ms Leavitt's future endeavours outside of government service.
