King Charles III Attends Trooping the Colour; Thousands Gather for Sovereign's Official Birthday Parade
King Charles III led the Trooping the Colour ceremony in central London, an annual event celebrating the monarch's official birthday. The King, making his way on horseback, was joined by the Princess Royal and the Prince of Wales, also mounted. The Queen travelled by carriage, accompanied by the Princess of Wales and her children.
Thousands of spectators lined the streets from Buckingham Palace, down The Mall, and to Horse Guards Parade to witness the parade. The event featured over 1,400 soldiers, 200 horses, and 400 musicians, culminating in the traditional flypast over Buckingham Palace, which the Royal Family observed from the balcony.
