
Klaudia Zakrzewska Dies After Soho Car Collision; Gabrielle Carrington Faces Murder Charge
Klaudia Zakrzewska, 32, from Essex, has died after being struck by a car outside a nightclub on Argyll Street in Soho during the early hours of 19 April. Ms Zakrzewska was transported to hospital but was pronounced deceased on Saturday.
Detective Chief Inspector Alison Foxwell extended condolences, stating, “We would like to express our deepest sympathies to Klaudia’s family and friends in light of this tragic update. Our thoughts are also with everyone impacted by this incident.”
Gabrielle Carrington, 29, of Broadfield Road, Manchester, had previously been charged with attempted murder. Following Ms Zakrzewska’s death, authorities confirmed the charge would be amended to murder. A 58-year-old man also suffered significant, life-changing injuries in the incident.
Ms Carrington faces additional charges including grievous bodily harm with intent, actual bodily harm, dangerous driving, and drink driving. She appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 21 April and remains remanded in custody, scheduled to appear at the Old Bailey on 19 May.
