Lancashire Police Arrest Man, 30, for Attempted Murder After Brierfield Teen Stabbing

A 17-year-old girl is undergoing hospital treatment after sustaining a stab wound to the neck in Brierfield, near Nelson. Lancashire Police armed officers attended the scene on Wood Street and arrested a 30-year-old man.

Police were called at 15:06 BST following reports of the stabbing. The victim's injuries are not considered life-threatening.
