
Man Arrested on Suspicion of Murder After Three-Year-Old Girl Found Dead in Greater Manchester
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the discovery of a three-year-old girl's body at an address in Bolton, Greater Manchester. Greater Manchester Police attended a property on Crossdale Road, Breightmet, yesterday afternoon after receiving a welfare concern.
Upon arrival, officers found the young girl deceased. A 39-year-old man was also found at the scene with a serious injury. He was transported to hospital for treatment and will be held in police custody once discharged.
Detective Chief Inspector Phil Davies stated that a murder investigation has commenced. Police have assured the public that there is no wider threat, and officers are providing support to the girl's family during this period.
