Man in Critical Condition After Sea Rescue Off Brighton Coast

A man in his 50s is in a critical condition at Royal Sussex County Hospital following a rescue from the sea off Brighton. Emergency services were called to the shoreline near Brighton Palace Pier shortly after 22:15 on Saturday.

Reports indicated multiple individuals required assistance. The man in his 50s was pulled from the water and received immediate medical attention from paramedics before being transported to hospital.

Two other people were also recovered. A man in his 20s and a teenage girl were also taken to hospital for treatment. Their current conditions have not been specified beyond remaining in medical care.

Sussex Police have stated that enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
