Meghan Markle Excludes Public Appearances During Prince Harry's September UK Visit
Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, will not participate in any public engagements during Prince Harry's visit to the UK in September. The Duke is scheduled to attend the WellChild Awards, an event honouring seriously ill children and their carers, of which he is a long-standing patron. This will be his first public engagement in the UK since June.
Reports had previously suggested that Meghan might accompany Prince Harry, potentially bringing their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, for a private visit. However, a spokesperson for the couple has clarified that while Prince Harry will be in the UK for the awards ceremony, Meghan's schedule does not include any public appearances during this period.
Prince Harry is also expected to visit Germany for the Invictus Games, an international multi-sport event for wounded, injured, and sick service personnel and veterans, which he founded. It is anticipated that Meghan will join him for portions of the Invictus Games schedule in Düsseldorf.
