
Metropolitan Police Seize £3.7m Ferrari, 89 Other Vehicles in London Operation
Metropolitan Police conducted a weekend operation across central London, resulting in the seizure of ninety vehicles and a total estimated value exceeding £8 million. Among the impounded vehicles was a rare Ferrari, alone valued at £3.7 million.
Officers issued over 200 traffic offence reports during the crackdown. Offences ranged from uninsured driving to instances of dangerous driving and vehicles being operated without proper licenses. The operation focused on areas known for high instances of motoring violations.
Police officials stated the initiative aimed to address unsafe driving practices and ensure compliance with vehicle regulations within the capital. The confiscated vehicles are now subject to further investigation, with potential fines and legal proceedings for their owners.
