Peacehaven Van Driver Dies After Vehicle Plunges From Cliff Edge
A man has died after his van plunged from a cliff edge in Peacehaven, East Sussex, on Wednesday. Sussex Police confirmed the driver of the Ford Transit van was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency services, including police, paramedics, and the coastguard, were called to the incident near the clifftop footpath at Steyning Avenue around 16:30 BST. The van had come to rest on the beach below the cliffs.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing. Sussex Police have appealed for any witnesses or individuals with relevant information, particularly dashcam footage, to come forward.
