
Police Scotland Investigate Deaths of Two Women Following Loch Fyne Diving Incident
Two women have died after a diving incident at Loch Fyne in Argyll and Bute, Police Scotland confirmed. The alarm was raised at approximately 15:21 on Sunday, prompting a multi-agency response to the scene near the A83 at Ardkinglas.
Emergency services, including HM Coastguard, the Scottish Ambulance Service, and Police Scotland personnel, attended the incident. Despite their efforts, both women were pronounced deceased at the site.
Police Scotland stated that enquiries into the full circumstances of the deaths are ongoing. Post-mortem examinations will be conducted to determine the exact causes, and reports will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
