Police Scotland Investigate Mohamed Al-Fayed Abuse Claims Involving Hundreds of Women and Girls

Police Scotland have initiated an investigation into extensive allegations of sexual abuse against the deceased businessman, Mohamed Al-Fayed. The claims, which reportedly involve hundreds of women and girls, cover a period of over 40 years and encompass various locations, including his Scottish estate, Balnagown Castle.

These allegations emerged following an investigation by a Western media outlet, detailing claims of sexual assault and harassment. Al-Fayed, who owned Harrods and Fulham Football Club, died in August 2023 at the age of 94. A representative for the Al-Fayed family stated they could not comment on anonymous allegations but noted Mr Al-Fayed was never charged with any crime during his lifetime.
