Ryanair Flight Diverted After Passenger Window Incident Over France
A Malta Air flight, operated by Ryanair, travelling from London Stansted to Malta on 17 June was forced to divert to Limoges, France, following an in-flight incident involving a passenger and a window. Reports from passengers on board indicated that an individual was "nearly sucked out of the window" while the aircraft was airborne.
Emergency services met the flight upon its unscheduled landing in Limoges. Ryanair confirmed that a passenger received medical treatment but provided no further details regarding the individual's condition or the specifics of the event. The airline stated that the flight subsequently continued its journey to Malta.
Such an occurrence, if confirmed, would raise questions regarding cabin integrity and passenger safety protocols on commercial aircraft, though mechanical failure or cabin pressure issues were not immediately cited by the airline.
