
Seven-Year-Old Boy Dies After North Cornwall Beach Incident That Claimed Mother, Daughter
A seven-year-old boy, Musa Ahmed, has tragically died after an incident at a North Cornwall beach last Wednesday. His death marks the third fatality from the event, which also claimed the lives of his mother, Shameem Ahmed, 30, and his sister, Shayna Ahmed, 11.
The family, who were visiting from the London area, encountered severe difficulties in the water at Mawgan Porth, near Newquay. Emergency services were called to the scene at approximately 17:20 BST on 19 June.
Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed Musa Ahmed's death on Sunday morning. His mother and sister were pronounced dead at the scene last Wednesday. All three were pulled from the water by members of the public and lifeguards before receiving medical attention.
A police spokesperson stated that the deaths are not being treated as suspicious. Authorities are now preparing a file for the coroner to formally investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
