
South African Police Arrest Man in Eastern Cape Over Bedford Triple Murder
A man has been arrested in South Africa's Eastern Cape province in connection with the murders of Nothabo Zandile Tshuma, 38, and her daughters, aged five and 15, in Bedford.
Police apprehended the suspect in KwaNobuhle, Kariega, some 200km from the crime scene. The arrest follows the discovery of the three bodies at their residence in Tavistock Street, Bedford, on Tuesday. Police were alerted by a neighbour who had not seen the family since Sunday.
Initial reports indicate the victims sustained multiple stab wounds. Investigators are working to establish the full circumstances surrounding the deaths. The identities of the deceased children have not yet been formally released.
The suspect is currently being held for questioning as the police investigation continues into this harrowing incident.
