South Korean Delegation Criticises Restrictive Athlete Accommodation at Asian Games

The South Korean delegation at the Asian Games in Nagoya has voiced strong objections to the athlete accommodation. Officials highlighted the constrained sleeping arrangements, specifically the beds within the wooden container units, which are deemed unsuitable for taller competitors.

A spokesperson for the South Korean team stated that the beds, measuring 1.8 metres in length, present significant difficulties for athletes exceeding this height. This has reportedly led to discomfort and potential impediments to proper rest and recovery, crucial for athletic performance.
