Southeastern Train Stabbing: Passengers Believed Attack Was a 'Joke'
Passengers on a Southeastern train travelling from Margate to London Victoria initially perceived a violent knife attack as a 'joke' before realising the gravity of the situation. The incident, which occurred last month, saw individuals witnessing the assailant's actions without immediate comprehension.
The first victim of the assault revealed he questioned hospital staff, 'Am I going to die today?', underscoring the severe nature of his injuries and the psychological trauma experienced. The attack, which took place in broad daylight, highlights a worrying lapse in public safety perception, where extreme violence can be mistaken for casual behaviour.
