
Three Dead, Including Child, After Elephant and Castle Tower Block Fall
A man, a woman, and a child have died after falling from a high-rise residential block in south London, according to the Metropolitan Police.
Emergency services were dispatched to Churchyard Row in Elephant and Castle at 07:29 BST on Wednesday following reports of individuals falling from a significant height. Resuscitation attempts by emergency crews at the scene were unsuccessful, and all three were pronounced dead.
The Metropolitan Police stated that officers, along with the London Ambulance Service, London's Air Ambulance, and the London Fire Brigade, attended the incident. The deaths are currently being treated as unexpected, with no other injuries reported.
Authorities are in the process of formally identifying the deceased. Their next of kin have been notified and are receiving support from specialist officers.
