Three Released Without Charge After Fatal Arson Attack in County Cork

Gardaí have released three individuals – two women and one man – without charge in connection with a fatal arson attack that claimed a man's life in County Cork. The incident occurred on Monday morning in the village of Kilcully.

Emergency services responded to a house fire at approximately 04:30 GMT. The victim, identified as a man in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was subsequently transported to Cork University Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

One person remains in custody and investigations are ongoing. Police continue to appeal for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
