US Billionaire Leon Black Files Lawsuit Against House Oversight Committee Subpoenas

American billionaire Leon Black has launched a legal challenge against subpoenas issued by the US House Oversight Committee. The committee is investigating Black's financial ties and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) concerning the late Jeffrey Epstein, who was convicted of sex trafficking.

Black's lawsuit, filed in federal court, argues that the subpoenas demanding the disclosure of these NDAs are 'invalid'. His legal team contends the committee has overstepped its legislative mandate, viewing the demands as an intrusion into private contractual matters rather than a legitimate exercise of congressional oversight.
