
Adelaide Plane Crash Kills Two, Injures Several at Parafield Airport Hangar
Two individuals have died following a light aircraft crash at Parafield Airport in Adelaide. The incident, involving a twin-engine Diamond DA42, occurred on Wednesday afternoon, with the aircraft subsequently igniting after impacting a hangar.
Reports indicate several others sustained injuries, though precise figures remain unconfirmed. South Australian police confirmed the immediate area was evacuated as emergency services managed the situation. The fire within the hangar has since been extinguished, and the airfield is closed.
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau has launched an investigation into the crash. South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas conveyed his condolences to those affected by the tragedy.
