
Anglesey Festival Death: Lucy Halpin, 18, Suffers Fatal Cardiac Arrest at Tonnau Event
Lucy Ellen Halpin, 18, from the Buckley area, tragically died following a cardiac arrest at the Tonnau festival on Anglesey. The incident occurred at the music event held near Llanfaethlu. Her family described her as a "treasured daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and cousin" in a tribute, stating she will be "missed more than words can say."
Emergency services were called to the festival site during the early hours of Saturday morning, 13th July. Despite immediate medical attention, Ms Halpin was pronounced dead.
North Wales Police have confirmed they are investigating the circumstances surrounding Ms Halpin's death. A post-mortem examination has been conducted, and the police are working to establish a comprehensive understanding of the events leading to her cardiac arrest at the festival.
Festival organisers for Tonnau have expressed their condolences to Ms Halpin's family and stated they are cooperating fully with the ongoing police investigation.
