
Bali Police Probe Deaths of Australian Man, Two Children in Denpasar Residence
Authorities in Denpasar, Bali, have launched an investigation following the discovery of an Australian national and his two young children, aged five and two, dead within their residence. The deceased have been identified as the father, aged 48, and his offspring. Their bodies were located in the village of Buduk, Mengwi, a sub-district of Badung.
The alarm was raised when the man's wife, reportedly working out of town, contacted neighbours to ascertain the welfare of her family. Upon entering the home, neighbours found the three individuals unresponsive and immediately notified local police.
Preliminary reports from investigators indicate no immediate signs of forced entry or struggle at the property. The exact cause of death remains undetermined, with forensic examinations and toxicology reports pending. Police have secured the scene and commenced interviews with witnesses as part of their ongoing inquiry into the incident.
