British Families Travel to Nepal Searching for 33 Missing UK Nationals
Families of 33 British nationals have journeyed to Nepal to assist in the search for their missing relatives. The group, which includes a 13-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy, disappeared following a planned walking trip.
Reports indicate that the individuals were last seen in the mountainous region of Langtang National Park. Local authorities are coordinating search efforts, with assistance from international teams and the British Embassy in Kathmandu.
The families expressed significant concern, noting the challenging terrain and the elapsed time since last contact. The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office has confirmed it is providing consular support to the affected families.
