Cheshire Police Release CCTV After 880 Barrels of Guinness Stolen from Runcorn Depot

Detectives in Cheshire have released CCTV images of two individuals they wish to identify in connection with the theft of nearly 900 barrels of Guinness from a depot in Runcorn. The incident occurred on 31 August at a business on Brindley Road, Daresbury.

Details of the Theft

The perpetrators utilised a white DAF truck, registration number KV65 VBO, to enter the premises. This vehicle was subsequently used to tow away a trailer, registration number OOYH257, which had been previously reported stolen from the South Yorkshire area. The trailer was empty upon entry but was filled with approximately 880 barrels of Guinness, valued at over £100,000, before leaving the depot.

Police Constable Adam Carr, of Cheshire Constabulary, has urged anyone who recognises the men in the CCTV footage, or who possesses information regarding the whereabouts of the stolen Guinness, to contact the force.
