Cleveland Police Question 62-Year-Old Man in Donna Keogh 1998 Disappearance Investigation

A 62-year-old man has been taken into custody by Cleveland Police on suspicion of murder, in a significant development concerning the disappearance of Donna Keogh. Ms Keogh, then 17, was last seen in the Middlesbrough area on 19 April 1998. The man is currently being questioned by detectives.

This is the second murder arrest made by the force in connection with Ms Keogh's case. Another individual, also a man, was arrested on suspicion of murder in January 2024 and subsequently released on bail.

Ms Keogh’s family has been informed of the latest arrest. The investigation into her disappearance has remained active for over two decades, with police continuing to appeal for any information that could assist their enquiries.
