Olivia Fahnbulleh, the Energy Secretary, has affirmed her backing for the Home Secretary's policies on illegal migration, clarifying remarks she previously made to journalists.

Ms Fahnbulleh had reportedly expressed concerns to reporters regarding the government's framing of illegal immigration following an interview she gave. However, she has now stated that her earlier comments were misjudged, conceding she 'didn't get it right'.
