Enhertu Drug Approved for NHS England Breast Cancer Patients

Advanced breast cancer patients across England will now have access to Enhertu, a targeted chemotherapy drug, via the National Health Service. This decision, announced by NHS England, brings the treatment in line with Scotland, where it has been available for over two years.

Clinical trials have demonstrated that Enhertu can extend the lives of eligible patients by an average of seven months, significantly improving prognosis for those with HER2-low metastatic breast cancer.
